Waterford, have been engaged in the design, fabrication and installation of high quality steel products. Our main markets have been in the Pharmaceutical, Dairy, Brewing and Food Industries, and our technical expertise is well known throughout these markets. We have two main fabrication workshops, one for carbon steel and the other for stainless steel fabrications.
Radley Engineering is today one of Ireland’s foremost Contract Engineering firms and has designed and fabricated many specialised items of equipment. Fabrication of storage tanks and pressure vessels is the principle work of the company’s workshops, small atmosphenc tanks and pressure reactors of around 200 - 300 litres up to 360 m3 atmospheric silos and 90 m3 pressure vessels have been produced. The design offices are fully equipped/computerised to design to ASME VIII or BS 5500 or AD Merkblatte to draught vessels, to provide the technical back-up, and provide third party inspection and pressure testing.
Vessels can be produced in a variety of materials from carbon steels and boiler plates to stainless steels e.g. 304L, 316L, 904L, Hasteiloy C-276 or C 22 etc. For process or hygienic requirements, Radley Engineering offer a full polishing service for the internal surfaces of vessels and external surfaces can also be polished for appearances. Polish finishes up to and including mirror-finish are attainable. Insulation services are also provided.
Heat Exchangers, Condensers, Calandrias can be supplied in carbon steel, stainless steel or special materials, to the customer’s requirements, all designed and fabricated to ASME VIII and TEMA standards.
For existing exchangers, a repair facility is offered, units are removed to the Works and re-tubed, or for replaceable tube bundles a new bundle is made and installed either at the Works or on site.
Radley Engineering also encompasses a Site Installation Service. From our earliest days, we have been involved in the installation of equipment and pipework and many differing types of plant. Our experience is now widespread having successfully completed numerous projects, large and small. At all times the factory has been available for backup and pre-fabrication purposes including orbital welding of sanitary pipework.
We have a range of special welding heads for welding pipe from 1/2" to 18". We also have special cutting tools, alignment tools, gas bags etc. to facilitate special preps on pipework necessary for orbital welding.
Radley Engineering quality assurance registration number M 1413 has been granted by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) under I.S.E.N. ISO 900 1/2000.
